At the request of those who attended the August Prayer for Peace in 2006, we are continuing this service. On the second Sunday of every month, we gather to pray for peace with friends and neighbors in different traditions. We set this time apart for holding in our hearts -- in word, in song, and in silence -- all those who are in harm's way (and their anxious families) in the war-ravaged parts of our one globe. If we believe in the power of prayer to change us and our world, then we must take time to "hold in the light" all those parts of our world in conflict. During summer evenings, our popular Eucharist Potlucks begin in the Marcella chapel where we break bread at the table of the Lord. We then join together in breadbreaking at the dining table in Bartimaeus.

Mass begins at 6:30 pm. Potlucks follow immediately after.

Bring a dish to pass and a table setting. We will provide beverages.
